The pancreas has two different types of glands. Pancreatic enzymes are being made by exocrine glands. This certain juice contains enzymes that are used in breaking down the proteins and fats in all foods you take in order for them to be used by your body. Most cells found in your pancreas are actually part of exocrine system.The smaller clusters of the pancreas’ cells are the endocrine cells, known as islets. They are responsible in making hormones such as insulin which helps in balancing the blood’s sugar amount.

Cancer is a broad group of diseases that is caused due to uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells in the body. Pancreatic cancer is the fifth leading cancer that causes death. The chances of patient survival depend upon the stage of the cancer.
